Eat These 7 Foods and Give Your Skincare Routine a Major Boost!

  1. Blueberries

Blueberries are high in antioxidants, particularly vitamins C and E, but they also contain resveratrol, which is known to reduce sun damage to skin. They contain a lot of other vitamins and nutrients as well, making them not only beneficial to skin health, but your overall health, too.

Blueberries are delicious in a fruit bowl or smoothie, or even layered into a yogurt parfait, making them a satisfying sweet treat that’s easy to add into your diet.

The great thing about avocados is that they are incredibly versatile! You can slice them over a salad, spread them onto toast, mash and mix them with crab meat, mix them into a smoothie, or just eat them plain.

Tomatoes contain a lot of antioxidants and carotenoids, making them very beneficial for skin health. Green tea, like many other teas, contains polyphenols, which have been shown to have antibacterial, antioxidant, and antiviral properties. Catechins, the most common polyphenols in green tea, are also known to be strong anti-inflammatory agents.

Green tea is most commonly brewed as a tea, but it can also be purchased in powder form, making it a great ingredient to add into baked goods and smoothies.
